Born out of Angel & Z Radio, a New York-based skate and graffiti podcast that first aired in the summer of 2020, the 2022 launch of Living Proof magazine marked a transition in medium, aiming ‘to continue the traditional practice of printed media within graffiti culture.’ Combining interviews with heavily contrasted flash photography, each issue of Living Proof spotlights key figures from the New York skate and street art scene and beyond.
Barrington Levy—the people’s king of Caribbean dancehall music—headlines this edition of Living Proof. Join the team as they travel to the rural outskirts of the Jamaican city of Portmore to speak with ‘Mr. Broader Than Broadway’ in situ. Also in conversation: graphic tee designer Vanna Kitty, London street art legend Fatzo, and New York native, former Clash tour member, and Basquiat co-exhibitor Futura 2000.
